Asaduddin Owaisi, who drives the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen or AIMIM has encouraged the legislature to bring a law to rebuff any individual who calls an Indian Muslim “a Pakistani” with a three-year imprison term. Putting his request to the administration in the House, Mr Owaisi stated, “Bring a law that if any Muslim is called Pakistani, the individual making such comments will confront a three-year imprison term.” He went ahead to state he was very sure that his request won’t be heard, and that the BJP-drove government won’t bring such a bill.
Mr Owaisi said Muslims living in India had rejected Mohammad Ali Jinnah’s two-country hypothesis. Mr Owaisi, who was partaking in the verbal confrontation in the Lok Sabha on the movement of gratitude to the President’s Address, likewise asserted that the triple talaq charge was “hostile to ladies.”
