The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) Class 12 Accountancy paper was supposedly leaked on Thursday just a few days ahead of the examination. Students got to know that a Whatsapp message that’s going viral since Wednesday was found to be an exact match of the Set –II of the CBSE’s Accountancy paper.
However, CBSE has issued a statement that clearly denied all the rumours related to the leak. None of the seals in the examination paper packets have been damaged, it said.
Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia tweeted that, “I have received complaints about the Class 12 Accountancy paper being leaked. Have asked officers of the Directorate of Education to investigate and lodge a complaint with CBSE. ”
He also added that swift action should be taken, so that the hard-working students don’t suffer due to any negligence of CBSE.
The CBSE Class 12 and Class 10 board examinations will start from March 5.
According to the sources, the paper was spreading out on the social media platform for a while after which some people supposedly tracked it being circulated from the Rohini area in Delhi. CBSE declared a statement this morning which was, “there has been no leakage of the question paper. All the seals have been found intact at the Exam centres.
“During the process of examination, however, at local level, some miscreants have tried to play mischief by circulating messages through WhatsApp and other social media to disturb the sanctity of examinations.”
