IPL 2018: Virat Kohli might miss a game due to illness against Delhi Daredevils

In cricket, Sport

Royal Challengers Bangalore might miss the services of their skipper Virat Kohli due to illness against Delhi Daredevils in the match number 45 of Indian Premier League. As per the source, Virat was missing from the net practice at Feroz Shah Kotla cricket ground in New Delhi.

The probability of Virat missing out from the clash against Delhi Daredevils is in high reach as per the reports of Stars Sports, the captain did not turn for the training session before the game and hence was missing out.

If Virat Kohli will miss out on their 11th outing of this season then it will be Ab De Villers who will be captaining the side in the absence of India’s run machine. Royal Challengers will deal with a great loss as their main player will miss out to play if he is not well.

Virat has scored 396 runs in the 10 games of IPL this season that shows he has been the stand-out batsman for RCB. The team of Bangalore will definitely miss their skipper as he is the main batsman of RCB’s batting dug-out.

Bangalore is currently standing on 7th position of the points table with Delhi Daredevils on the bottom. Both the teams are nearly out of the tournament but still, Delhi people would love to see their local boy bat.

They technically have four games left in IPL 2018 and plus Virat’s form in Feroz Shah Kotla is quite remarkable and exceptional. The medical staff of Royal Challengers Bangalore will try to make sure that they make Virat Kohli fit and he is back on the field.

Royal Challengers Bangalore squad:

Parthiv Patel (wk), Virat Kohli (c), Manan Vohra, AB de Villiers, Moeen Ali, Mandeep Singh, Colin de Grandhomme, Tim Southee, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal, Quinton de Kock, Brendon McCullum, Chris Woakes, Washington Sundar, Murugan Ashwin, Corey Anderson, Sarfaraz Khan, Kulwant Khejroliya, Aniket Choudhary, Navdeep Saini, Pawan Negi, Aniruddha Joshi, Pavan Deshpande.
