Two students of class 10, Anamika Sadh and Harshwardhan Parmar have topped the Madhya Pradesh CBSE board class 10 examination with 99% marks. According to the official report, 66.64 % percentage students in Madhya Pradesh have passed, best in the two decades. There were 58 boys and 83 girls on the merit list announced by the board of Madhya Pradesh.
In 2018, 16% more candidates have announced clear in the class 10 examinations as compared to last year’s result. The reason behind the better result could be the addition of the marks of the best of five subjects this year.
Almost 20 lakh students, including 7,69,000 students from class 12 and 11,48,000 from class 10 respondents wrote exams conducted by MP board. The CBSE class 12 board began from March 1 and ended on April 3 with 10 class board were held on March 5 to March 31.
Madhya Pradesh board introduced new plans this time, separate question papers were given to the students, formatted laptops and tablets to handicapped students in the state to help them write the answers. They were allocated a time of an hour extra in context to write their exams plus a gap of three days in two papers.
To have a check on safety measures, the board asked the examination centres to book the children caught using unfair means to cheat on a criminal misdeed and fine up to rupees 5000.
Students were instructed to take off their shoes and girls had to take off their jewellery at the examination hall. Teachers were also asked not to use their mobile phone or any electronic device that would harm the decorum of the examination hall.
This year has proven to be better for the kids at Madhya Pradesh as last year the pass percentage of class 10 was 49.9% and 67.8 % for 12th.
