“Main toh pehli film se nude chala gaya tha” says Ranbir Kapoor at Sanju trailer launch

Ranbir Kapoor is receiving praise for his looks and his performance in Sanju, a biopic on Sanjay Dutt’s life and his journey. Sanjay Dutt himself gave Ranbir Kapoor a green signal after watching his dedication and the quality of work.

After the trailer was launched, Ranbir Kapoor said, “I used to have Sanju sir’s poster on the wall of my cupboard, and today in front of you, I am looking at you and trying to represent him. I know I can never be the man he is but in every which way I go about my career I really want him to like me.”

In the trailer itself, Ranbir is seen going nude in an emotionally charged scene. Ranbir said, “Main toh pehli film se nude Chala Gaya tha jab Mera towel gir Gaya tha (I went nude in my first film when my towel fell). I am very shy in real life, but not when the camera is on. I am portraying a character so you have to be nude, emotionally and physically.”

Ranbir Kapoor made his film career debut after starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Saawariya (2007) where he was paired with Sonam Kapoor in the film. The duo will be seen together after a long gap of 11 years. Sanju is directed by Rajkumar Hirani that also consist of actors like Anushka Sharma, Boman Irani and Dia Mirza.

Sanju movie is a film of one man’s emotion, live and how things turned out for him to be called a terrorist. Sanjay Dutt has gone through a lot in his life, with superhits to super flop his filming career has been a rollercoaster. Ranbir Kapoor on other hand has done a commendable job to portray Sanjay’s life in front of his fans.
