Slapping a friend over a small fight turns out to be a murder in Haji Malang area a few minutes away from Mumbai. Two youngsters have killed their friend over a minor spat with him. Both the youngsters were around their 20s who have destroyed Pravin Farat’s life after smashing a stone on his head.

Murder friends

It is to be believed the deceased person was a permanent resident of Mahalungi village, who went out with his friends and never returned. His dead body was recovered the next day with no signs from his friends and companion.

“Farat’s family members pointed us to some of his friends whom they suspected, and we had been looking for them. We arrested them finally on Tuesday,” said Maloji Shinde, senior police inspector of Panvel taluka police station.

“They do various odd jobs. We are checking if they have criminal records,” said a police officer from Panvel Taluka police station, who did not wish to be named”. On talking about the murderers.

Talking more about the matter, “Farat and the accused were good friends, but a few days before the murder, they had a small fight, and Farat reportedly slapped Dhongade. That offended Dhongade, and he decided to take revenge by killing Farat.”

After going out of his home, Farat was drunk and then his friends took stones to hit him on the head. His body was left out dumped in a gorge.

Police officials recovered Farat’s bike at a spot little before the gorge where his body was found. “We are now investigating to find out if more people were involved in the crime,” Shinde said.

One of the most disturbing news of the day, how can someone rely on such people who are meant as their life protector and moreover how friends who are treated as brothers from different mothers can take life for such a little dispute.
