A case of kidnapping has been registered after Pooja Kasna, a PhD scholar went missing from her home since 10th of March. The parents of the victim have lodged a complaint near Vasant Kunj police just after she didn’t return home.
The 26-year-old PhD scholar is been missing from her university named Jawaharlal Nehru University. This is most horrifying case Delhi police have come across in less than two years of time.
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is well known for its way of teaching and the kind of faculties they have is spectacular. No one would ever think any kind mishappening can take place from outside the college.
Pooja used to live in Shipra Hostel and from the day she was declared missing her phone has been put on a switch off. With no signs of her, the parents are eagerly waiting to see their child.
When the parents got no signs from her, they rushed to her hostel where she used to live and check if she was there or not but unfortunately, the room was locked.
On asking the other hostellers, they answered we thought she must have gone home because the room was locked for two days.
Investigators were waiting for the student’s phone details to trace her last location and the people she spoke to. “We are also in touch with her colleagues and friends,” the officer said.
University officials said they were trying to ascertain what had happened. “We have traced the student profile, now we are trying to contact her family to find out the exact information,” base of students Umesh Kadam said.
This is the second kidnapping case which is been registered by the Delhi police but they have now transferred the case to CBI but the bureau also has failed to search her.
