Virat Kohli the captain of Indian cricket team has reached another milestone with hitting his 34th ODI century he has left behind Sourav Ganguly who has scored 11 ODI centuries as the captain of the team. Kohli in his only 43rd ODI innings hammers his 12th ODI century as captain. The run machine attained this stone against South Africa in the third ODI match of the series.

After being put to bat first by SA, Indian openers didn’t quite show up with the bat but the skipper of the team was in full swing mood to make it count once more. This is his 3rd ODI century in this Proteas series with much more to come. The player is in exceptional form of his career all credit goes to his wife Mrs. Anushka Sharma Kohli. She has brought a very soothing luck to his life with which he is ruling the cricketing world.

Virat had scored 160 runs off 159 deliveries with a strike rate of more than a 100. Except for Shikhar Dhawan who scored quick 76 runs, no other batsman was able to score runs. Virat leading from front showcases how much he is desperate for his team to win every single match.

Kohli is the highest by an Indian captain away from home after Kapil Dev’s 175* vs Zim in Tunbridge Wells in 1983. This is also the highest run scored by an Indian at Cape Town. A vital 67 run partnership between Kohli and Bhuvneshwar Sharma took pass India’s score over 300.

The captain was praised from all over the world after batting so beautifully in the middle. Many Cricketers, Celebrities took them to Twitter to shower their blessings on the player who has once again shown who is best in the business. South Africa will be hoping for Ab De Villers to get fit after this ODI else the home team will be in a great trouble.
